All orders placed at HomePoker.com are administered electronically through 1ShoppingCart.com. HomePoker.com and 1ShoppingCart.com have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of all information under our control. All orders are processed via a secure server (SSL) and credit card details will never be e-mailed.

In the case of credit card orders, credit transactions are processed through our shopping cart’s secure server to our payment gateway PsiGate.

PSiGate uses digital certificates to authenticate the identities of both the sender and receiver when the transaction data is being transmitted. Certificates reside on both the client and server sides of the commerce site for added security.

PSiGate uses encryption to protect credit card information. The information is also stored behind a firewall to ensure protection.

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a protocol developed by Netscape® and used by PSiGate to provide secure transmission of private information being sent over the Internet. SSL uses public and private key pairs to prevent data from being compromised while in transit over the Internet

The AVS (Address Verification System)-introduced by MasterCard® and Visa®-is also part of PSiGate's Fraud Protection module. It verifies that the cardholder's address and zip code provided at the time of the transaction are the same as the address on record at the card-issuing bank.
