ABOUT US

The mission of HomePoker.com is simple:

To improve the home gambling experience and be best in the world at accommodating the amateur poker player.

Since 1998, we've been providing community to home gamblers worldwide for the purposes of discussion, interaction, information, and communication, focusing primarily on the game of poker.

In 2003, HomePoker.com became one of the first stores online selling poker supplies. For years now, we have been supplying the home poker game with quality poker chips, poker tables, poker accessories, and everything for your home poker game. We've been at it longer than almost anybody else. Click here to read what some of our customers have had to say about our products and our service.

Marc Wortman
HomePoker.com was founded by Marc Wortman in 1998. The site was originally founded as a hobby meant to provide as many home poker variants as possible to home poker players around the world.

Over time, the site evolved to include other content of interest to the home poker playing community, including home poker strategy, home poker and the law, low-limit casino poker, and protecting oneself against poker cheats. The website also offers tutorial to new players, as well as similar information on home blackjack and home craps.

Joel Krass

In 2003, Joel Krass became a partner in the development of HomePoker.com. Joel has been contributing his expertise to the website for years as The Scribe. Together, Marc and Joel have strengthened the mission of HomePoker.com with such online community elements as the discussion forum, news from the world of poker and gambling, the regular survey questions, the "Ask the Scribe" feature, and the book review section.
