NOTE: If you want a screen-printed logo on your felt, you will have to have this done before you attach this to the headliner.

    1) Lay the ¼” headliner foam on the work surface and lay your veneer playing surface facedown on top of the foam.

    2) Trace around the edge; spray each side with 3M Spray 77 adhesive on each side and place over the traced line.

    3) Trim off the excess foam. If you have enough room to wrap the foam over the edge, I would recommend an extra ¼” (enough to wrap around the edge only). I used a narrow jigsaw to make the cut, so I had to cut my headliner foam flush to the sedge. If you are worried about the room, cut the foam flush to the edge of the base.

    4) Lay the felt face down on the work surface. Lay the foam padded headline face down on top of the felt. Be sure it is centered (especially if you have a logo).

    5) Begin stapling at the end of the arc, one direction at a time. Finish the opposite side of the arc.

    6) Pull tight and repeat step 5 for the opposite end. Finish with the flat portions.
